Hi Everyone –
 
We are excited to let you know about a great fundraising event to benefit the Chege Orphanage.  We will be hosting “mini” photo shoots by Amanda K Photography in Central Park on September 3rd and 4th.   This is a chance to get your holiday photos taken by one of New York’s top children’s photographers and also do a lot of good in the process.  (See her photos in the attached image and at her website, www.amandakphoto.com.)
 
The sitting fee of $200 is a fraction of Amanda’s usual charge, and she is generously donating 100% of it to the children of the Chege Orphanage in Nakuru, Kenya.  The Chege Orphanage provides a safe haven and a nurturing home to 30 Kenyan children whose lives have been profoundly affected by the AIDS epidemic.   

The event will take place September 3rd and 4th, with 30-minute photo sessions scheduled from 8:30 – 4:30 each day.  The location is the open field across from Strawberry Fields, near the park entrance at West 72nd Street.  To book a session, please contact Patrice Durden at pmd@fsvs.com or 917-553-8743.
